Jack Mackenroth: Living HIV+

Name: Jack Mackenroth

What is your job?
I wear many hats. I’m trained as a fashion designer, which I have done in New York for 17 years. However, after I was on Season 4 of “Project Runway,” I have done a lot of TV work in front of the camera and on the production side. I’m currently producing a web series on Gay.com called “The Queens of Drag: NYC”,  which launches September 8th. It’s like a “Real Housewives” type of show with drag queens and better wigs. I also do a lot of speaking around the country about my personal story living with HIV. You can find out virtually everything about me at Jackmackenroth.com.

Drowning Pool's CJ for the Gulf and Veterans

Name: CJ Pierce

What is your job?
I am the Guitarist/Vocalist for Drowning Pool, Brothers Pierce, I also write songs and produce.

What social causes are most important to you?
Right now cleaning up the Gulf of Mexico (which is still a mess) is very important to me. I grew up in New Orleans and know many people whose whole life was based on fishing/shrimping in the Gulf. Now their livelihoods are completely ruined by things like oil, nuclear waste and harmful chemicals. These things should be handled with the utmost care and the laws around these issues are way to lenient! If these companies keep F'n up we won't be able to drink water, eat food and thus ending up "Dead" with a useless planet. It's our responsibility to force these companies to have the highest safety standards as possible. There can be no mistakes! No accidents! No excuses! Also we need to be more green. Time to recycle people!
