Evans Blue For 'Keeping Chase' And Cancer Awareness

Name:  Dan Chandler
What is your job? I sing for the band Evans Blue
What social causes are most important to you? Finding a cure for cancer.
What charity do you support – and how?  Keeping Chase.  We have benefit concerts to raise money, as well as a percentage of merch and single sales.
Why do you have a passion for this one in particular, is there a personal tie?  Chase Franklin is my nephew who passed away from brain cancer at 8 years old.  He has changed my life in every way possible... check out our dedication to him, called "Erase My Scars."
Is there a particular way you would want to encourage readers to be involved?  It's hard to completely acknowledge how cancer affects your life until someone you love becomes the victim.  Getting involved may help prevent you from ever coming face to face with it.

  1. I've also lost family members to cancer, including two of my sisters; the second one passed on her birthday from brain cancer. I also have a brother, and my oldest son who are in remission. Cancer is such a devestating disease, I hope we can find a cure; and it's wonderful to see more people getting involved in the cause....thank you for everything you all are doing.
